Chris joined McCarthy Duffy as an Associate in January 2024. Prior to joining the firm Chris practiced in insurance litigation and most recently served as corporate counsel for an international fintech company headquartered in Chicago. Chris is exceptionally personable and prioritizes open communication and attention to detail to deliver the best possible results for his clients.
A Chicago suburbs native, Chris attended Iowa State University for his undergrad and went on to graduate from the University of St. Thomas School of Law in Minneapolis, Minnesota. During law school Chris clerked for an employment law firm and served as a certified student attorney in the law school’s trademark clinic, where he represented small and large business owners before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Chris also served as dean (president) of the Delta Theta Phi Law Fraternity, president of the Sports, Entertainment & Media Law Society, and vice president of the Student Intellectual Property Law Association.
Outside of work Chris enjoys boxing, cooking, and rooting for the Iowa State Cyclones and Chicago sports teams.
